Success Education Colleges Named 2026 CAPPS School Member of the Year

California Association of Private Postsecondary Schools Recognizes SEC for Its Commitment to Students, Leadership, Advocacy, and Career Education

WEST COVINA, Calif. — Success Education Colleges (SEC), the family of institutions that includes North-West College, Glendale Career College, Nevada Career Institute, and the Marsha Fuerst School of Nursing, has been named the 2026 School Member of the Year by the California Association of Private Postsecondary Schools (CAPPS).

The annual recognition honors a CAPPS member institution that represents the best of the private postsecondary education sector—not only through the education and opportunities it provides students, but also through its engagement, leadership, advocacy, and support of CAPPS and the broader career education community.

“We are incredibly honored to be recognized by CAPPS as the 2026 School Member of the Year,” said Mitchell Fuerst, President of Success Education Colleges. “This award reflects the dedication of our faculty, staff, and leadership across our family of colleges, as well as our shared commitment to helping students pursue meaningful careers and build better futures for themselves and their families.”

For decades, Success Education Colleges has focused on providing career-focused education designed to prepare students for opportunities in health care, nursing, and other in-demand career fields. Through its family of colleges and campuses, SEC works to provide students with the education, hands-on training, resources, and support they need throughout their educational journey.

Beyond the classroom, SEC has remained actively engaged in the career education community, supporting efforts that strengthen private postsecondary education and advocate for the students, graduates, educators, and institutions it serves.

Being selected as the 2026 CAPPS School Member of the Year recognizes SEC’s broader commitment to the sector and its ongoing involvement with CAPPS, an association that represents private postsecondary institutions throughout California.

“This recognition belongs to everyone across Success Education Colleges who works each day to serve our students,” added Fuerst. “We are proud of what our teams have accomplished, and we remain committed to expanding educational opportunities, supporting student success, and strengthening career education for years to come.
