History

In 1946, Dr. Byron Prout established Glendale College of Business. The College broadened its offerings to include programs for the medical and legal professions. The name of the institution was changed to Glendale College of Business and Paramedical, and, in 1988, to Glendale Career College.

On April 15, 2008, Success Education Colleges acquired Glendale Career College. Since joining SEC, the College has increased its program offerings, expanded student enrollment, and relocated to a beautiful new campus facility. Among the list of programs available is a Registered Nurse program—designed to help students earn their Associate of Arts in Nursing in a supportive, hands-on learning environment.

What We Do

Glendale Career College is committed to providing students with the highest quality training possible. Our goal is to prepare individuals for the real world—to help them thrive in the health care field. At GCC, every day is an opportunity to see that goal become reality. We rely on our caring, professional Team Members and Instructors to offer students the support they need. We also focus on creating impactful learning moments through hands-on training. We know it’s not enough to simply read about a career in a textbook—students need the chance to practice valuable skills they will use in the World of Work using modern technology. That’s exactly what they are able to do at GCC.

When they graduate from Glendale Career College, they can be confident they are well equipped and prepared to hit the ground running as health care professionals. Attending GCC also means having a support system that extends well beyond graduation. Once they complete their programs, students are eligible for our career placement assistance—a service provided by our phenomenal Career Services Team. We cannot promise jobs to our graduates, but our students do enjoy outstanding placement rates across our programs. What’s more, employers know that individuals trained at Glendale Career College are ready for the rigors of the health care field.
