Glendale Career College RN-BSN Program Earns 10-Year CCNE Accreditation Renewal
Recognition Reinforces the College’s Commitment to Excellence in Nursing Education
GLENDALE, CA — Glendale Career College has received a 10-year accreditation renewal from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) for its Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-BSN) program, reaffirming the College’s commitment to providing high-quality nursing education and preparing students to meet the evolving needs of today’s healthcare workforce.
The accreditation renewal extends through June 30, 2036, and follows a comprehensive evaluation process that recognized the strength of the program and its continued commitment to educational excellence. As part of its review, the CCNE Board of Commissioners determined that Glendale Career College’s RN-BSN program substantially complied with all four accreditation standards and identified no compliance concerns related to key program elements.
“We are incredibly proud of this achievement and what it represents for our students, faculty, and nursing programs,” said Serjik Kesachekian, Chief Compliance Officer of Glendale Career College. “Receiving a full 10-year accreditation renewal reflects our commitment to maintaining the highest standards in nursing education and ensuring our students are prepared to make meaningful contributions to healthcare and the communities they serve.”
“This accreditation renewal reflects the dedication of our faculty and the strength of our RN-BSN program,” said Kimberly Wiegand, Dean of Post Licensure RN Programs at Glendale Career College. “We remain committed to supporting nurses as they advance their education, strengthen their leadership skills, and continue serving their communities with excellence and compassion.”
CCNE accreditation is a nationally recognized mark of educational quality and excellence. The renewal demonstrates Glendale Career College’s continued focus on academic integrity, student outcomes, and continuous improvement within its nursing curriculum.
“This recognition validates the dedication and passion our team brings to education every day,” Kesachekian added. “We remain committed to empowering students and preparing future nursing professionals to make a lasting impact in healthcare.”
