Enhancing Opportunities for Aspiring Nurses in Utah with Innovative Educational Programs

PROVO, Utah — North-West College (NWC) is pleased to announce the opening of a new campus in Provo, Utah, which will feature the Marsha Fuerst School of Nursing. This campus will offer a comprehensive and innovative Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program designed to prepare students to become skilled, compassionate Registered Nurses. Classes are scheduled to begin in January 2026.

“We are proud to extend our presence into Provo, responding to the growing demand for qualified nurses and healthcare professionals in this community,” said NWC President Mitchell Fuerst. “The new campus will provide students with the resources they need to succeed in their nursing careers while also supporting the local community’s healthcare needs.”

At the new Provo campus, BSN students will benefit from beautiful facilities, including classrooms and specialized simulation labs. These innovative learning spaces are designed to deliver a hands-on, immersive educational experience that equips students to excel in today’s dynamic healthcare environment.

“We are committed to creating an environment where students can earn their Bachelor’s Degree and build a strong foundation of practical skills and nursing knowledge,” Fuerst continued. “We are confident this campus will play a vital role in developing the next generation of nurses who will serve their communities with excellence.”

The new Provo campus will be led by Dr. Andrew Nydegger, who currently serves as the President of the Utah Nurses Association. With his extensive expertise and deep understanding of the healthcare landscape in Utah, Dr. Nydegger will bring a unique perspective to the academic team and help guide students toward success in their journey to becoming Registered Nurses.

“Our mission is to prepare high-quality nurses who can help address the current nursing shortage in Utah,” said Nydegger. “Our graduates will go on to provide excellent healthcare to Utahns.”

Classes at the Provo campus are scheduled to begin in January 2026. For more information about the BSN program at the Marsha Fuerst School of Nursing at North-West College in Provo, please contact Dr. Andrew Nydegger at AndrewN@success.edu or visit MarshaFuerst.com.
